Afghan national accused in deadly DC National Guard shooting pleads not guilty, prosecutors seek death penalty

The Afghan nationalist accused of shooting 2 National Guard members successful Washington, D.C., successful November has pleaded not guilty, arsenic prosecutors question the decease penalty.

Rahmanullah Lakanwal, 29, is accused of shooting West Virginia National Guard Army Spc. Sarah Beckstrom and U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, 24. Beckstrom succumbed to her injuries, portion Wolfe was critically injured but recovered.
